Applying for Candidacy

The College's first contact with a potential M.Th. candidate is usually through a senior member of Faculty or the Registrar. The first contact refers the applicant to the Registrar.

Assessment of eligibility:	The Registrar ascertains the eligibility of the applicant for candidacy. Where necessary the Director of Postgraduate Studies is consulted.
Interview (full-time):	Full-time study is only available to members of the College. Accordingly, applicants wishing to enrol in the M.Th. in full-time mode must also be interviewed by the Principal or his designated representative and be accepted as a member of the College by the College Council.
Interview (part-time):	Applicants for part-time study must undertake a preliminary interview with the Director of Postgraduate Studies or the Director of Studies and then complete an application for admission to the course for consideration by the Board of Studies on the recommendation of the Postgraduate Committee.
Lodgement of application and preparation of program proposal:	The Registrar provides eligible applicants with an application form and a copy of the Student Handbook and may direct an applicant to a relevant Faculty member for advice in framing a proposed program of study. The applicant submits an outline of the proposed study program to the Registrar in writing (accompanied by an electronic copy).
